PetroBio Tech, Inc. originated as part of Spendlove Research Foundation and became a ‘for profit’ organization dedicated to research, develop and market environmentally friendly products into the petroleum industry and the general public in 2004. The goals of PetroBio Tech are to develop new sources of energy, improve air quality by making vehicle fuel more efficient and less polluting, and produce environmentally friendly products. As these are also the goals of the Foundation, the initial research was supported by the Foundation. The Foundation’s endowment was not large enough to continue funding the research, so private funding by Foundation members was obtained. PetroBio Tech continues research in Foundation facilities.
PetroBio Tech, Inc. research and marketing focuses on fuel additives to reduce harmful emissions and improve fuel economy in the mining and construction industries as well as general public use in both diesel and gasoline engines. Research continues as well into treatment of refinery sludge with our “D-Multz” product, tar sand extraction, and the cleaner burn of coal powered generation plants.
In 2006 PetroBio Tech, Inc. began production of a product called “Fowl Balls”, a small 4” hexagon shaped, patent pending, ball used in covering chemical waste water ponds in the mining industry. Along with the standard Fowl Balls a ¾”hexi-ball was designed for the evaporation tanks within the refining process. We have various sizes, ¾” to 24” in diameter, based on the particular demand of the customer. Fowl Balls help prevent wildlife mortality by transforming the surface of the ponds into an undesirable landing spot.

extensive training such as onsite testing, seminars, conventions and symposiums designed for the various petroleum dependant industries, military and governmental installations, and the public in general.
PetroBio Tech, Inc's facilities include a well equiped 7500 sq. ft. petroleum research lab as well as a 6000 sq. ft. blending and packaging warehouse.
The research department is equipped with an automotive dynamometer, Sun engine analyzer, Petroleum Distillation unit, Cloud and Pour point testing apparatus for distillates,
6 gas emission analyzers, opacity meter, bomb calorimeter, and gas chromatography/FID.
The blending and packaging department at PetroBio Tech, Inc. utilizes a 30,000 gallon blending tank , extrusion blow molding machine for plastic bottles and “Fowl Balls” production, and a 10 ton chiller for cooling plastic molded products.
The purpose and vision of PetroBio Tech, Inc. is to reach not only domestic markets but the world market with products that make a definitive impact on mankind both economically as well as environmentally.
