Fowl Balls provide protection in many environmental applications including: bird and wildlife conservation, algae control, evaporation and pond odor emissions control in both commercial and government entities. PetroBio Tech has developed a variety of new pond balls to choose from.

Original

In 2006 PetroBio Tech, Inc. introduced a new design of pond ball into the Heap Leach tailings pond market of the mining industry. 

The 4” ball has a unique ‘patent pending’ hexagon design that locks a blanket of balls together preventing them from blowing away in high wind storms and providing maximum coverage of the pond’s surface.

Two types of Original Design balls are offered. The 4" ball with water ballast weighs 4 ounces and the standard waterless version weighs 2 ounces. Both are available in a variety of colors including black, blue, green, and others.

EVAP-6

In 2007 EVAP-6 pond ball was introduced into the evaporative pond market of the Military, Mining and Power Plant industry. The EVAP-6 has a unique hexagon slotted design that locks a blanket of balls together. Wildlife is protected by having maximum coverage of the pond's surface, and natural water evaporation is allowed.

Two types of EVAP-6 balls are offered. The 4" ball with water ballast weighs 4 ounces and the standard waterless version weighs 2 ounces. Both are available in a variety of colors including black, blue, green, and others.

Quality Materials

All Fowl Balls are made from recyclable HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) or LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene) plastics. Because of the design and materials used to make Fowl Balls, they are durable, economical, and long-lasting.
