Free Fuel Additive With Emissions Test

If you are going through northern Utah on your way to Yellowstone, stop in Logan and we will test your emissions and give you a bottle of fuel additive. This will only take ten or fifteen minutes. We will add additive and you can stop on your way back from Yellowstone and have your emissions tested again. If you have several hours on your way north before you have used the additive, we will test your vehicle on the dynamometer and demonstrate the effectiveness of our additives. There is no charge for these services.

Tips to improve mileage (courtesy of economy.gov)

• Drive sensibly: Aggressive driving can lower mileage by up to 33%
• Monitor the speed limit: Most efficient mileage is at about 60mph. Gas mileage decreases rapidly at speeds above 60 mph.
• Remove excess weight: An extra 100 lbs can reduce mileage by up to 2%
• Avoid Excessive idling: Idling gets 0 mpg
• Use cruise control on the highways
• Use overdrive gears
• Maintain optimal tire pressure
• Keep the engine properly tuned
• Check and replace air filters regularly
• Use the recommended grade of motor oil for your vehicle
• Recirculate air when using air-conditioning and pull fresh air when heating
