Note: The use of 10% ethanol resulted in a 8.9% reduction in mpg in cars and a 20.6% reduction in mpg in trucks when compared to using regular non-ethanol treated gasoline.
Note: Because the consumption of ethanol produces low amounts of hydrocarbons compared to fossil fuels a small increase in hydrocarbon production is seen with the use of EX2PLUS. Consumption of ethanol produces higher amounts of NOx than fossil fuels, however, and the reduction seen with the use of EX2PLUS is significant.
